I can very well remember the headline that '
Leonardo Chiariglione, the founder of MPEG started the Digital Media
Project'. At the beginning there has been not much motion on the web site
but now it seems, that the project is active. 

Thanks for reminding us of the initiative, Stephane. For the ODRL initiative
"the functions and requirements for interoperability" will be of interest...
and maybe the initiative will chose ODRL as their standard rights language.
I am looking forward to do a mapping to their requirements ..
